The Mini is tremendously popular here in Asia and not surprisingly it looks cool and compact. So how do we keep our mini looking suave and yet well protected? The Pivot Leather Case is a good option.
Form Factor
I like my Mini naked or clothed in figure hugging leather. The leather hugs the mini securely with cuttings for all the buttons, including the camera.
The leather flap opens downwards which takes some getting use to. The front has a textured black leather surface which lends a touch of class to it's design.
There are 2 slots for SD/MMC cards. You can also sync the mini while it is still in the case.
Real Life Usage
Firstly to answer a call, you have to flip open the magnetic clasp and let the flap hand down while you speak. It's not uncomfortable and does not impede getting to the buttons. Answering a call can be done with one hand.
Carrying it around, you have a choice of the handy belt clip which isquite secure. Or you can unscrew the little metal bud and slip it into your pocket.

The small metal bud that fits into the belt clip can be conveniently removed if you are not using it.

A Sturdy Belt Clip keeps the Mini in Place.
It's too big for the shirt pocket, but still comfortable in trouser pocket.

You can also flip the cover all the way to the back if you don't like the cover hanging down below.
You can Activesync using the USB cable without having to remove the mini from the casing. The leather case offers good protection from hard knocks or short drops as it is able to absorb most of the impact. It also gives you a firm grip on my precious mini!
In conclusion, if you are looking for a sleek leather case that offers good protection for your mini, the Pivot Executive Leather Case is worth considering.
